Burnham on Sea is world famous for its lighthouses. Many people will recognise the Short and Tall Lighthouses but few, even locals, know about the oldest; The Round Tower Lighthouse from which we take our name. Built in the eighteenth century this lighthouse has an interesting history which tells about the caring centre of our community.
